A Story

In a conspiracy ridden world friendships are the rarest resource. This is true for all living in the Free Nations, but its truth weighs particularly heavily for those in the field. One instance during Operation: Deli Platter led to a lethal meet-up between former friends, or traitors. 

For context, the soldiers part of Operation: Deli Platter have all the reason to be careful at every step.

This is not just any mission. Oh no. The Deli squad has been carefully selected out of thousands of the highest level special operatives. Curated one by one under the supervision of The Leader of the Free Nations, The General and Captain Jon Wright. 

Find out everything they can about the Deli Platter, extract the intel and get back to base. Simple enough for the most elite squad in the world…

Pedro Gomez, however, has his doubts about this whole ordeal. 

Only days before traveling out from base to the middle of the pacific ocean, he found a letter on his coffee-table. What is this? 

It said one thing: Never think you have no friends. 

Included was one military patch from the FNPF (Free Nations Peace Force). The FNPF is a military unit from the Free Nations, focused on preservation of status quo in zones of conflict, currently deployed in the Afri Proxica. That is a long way from home. And more importantly, Pedro has no friends in the FNPF…

During Operation: Deli Platter the Deli Squad traveled by boat from a micro-island towards a secret glass bunker. All intel leads here. It is believed that the Deli Platter is a weapon. One that requires a prompt terminal to activate it. And it is also believed that this terminal can be accessed through an underwater server. Pedro takes a quick look at the FNPF patch. Is someone warning him?
