Welcome! To the Wizarding World!

In this tutorial we will have a look at how to create your own realistic Harry Potter title sequences. You're free to design the look based on anything you'd like but in this tutorial we'll cover the techniques in Cinema 4D and Corona Renderer, the export settings and the final compositing inside of After Effects.

You will learn how to create a spooky lighting look similar to that of the movie Häxan, and how to use a variety of lights to give plasticity to the shape of your typography. In After Effects we will be using a variety of assets from clouds to snow simulations in Trapcode Particular and you will learn how to use the Set Matte effect together with the Track Matte option.

The star of this tutorial will be an in depth look into expressions to control the scale of an Optical Flare by a gradient cycle of another layer.
