Rough Experimental Cinema

Today we have a tutorial on the grainy film look we created for King Khamen - Powertools.
We released this music video about a year ago and there were some interesting techniques we used both during the shoot and post-production.

The footage was shot on a Canon 60D using 1970s mouldy Minolta lenses.
The combination gave strong light leaks and incredibly soft footage. This base works great for adding film grain and creating a rough 16mm film look.
